For Women in Midlife, life can be incredibly busy and stressful. We need to re-energise and reduce stress. Hormones play a large part in middle age and we need to take time for self care. We may have teenage or young adult children - that is not easy! Older parents may be taking more time and be a worry to us, again causing added stress.
Our careers are busy but we need to give ourselves permission to take the time we need, give our bodies some care. Feeling stiff and immobile? Body unable to do what it used to? Are movements we took for granted impossible? We need to feel flexible and mobile to function well and allow us to enjoy our amazing body.

Maybe we never fixed a problem from years ago after child birth, something we have learnt to cope with, accept but something that erodes our self confidence. Pelvic floor control is vital to our sense of enjoyment in life. No woman should feel ashamed of being a woman and we should not accept weak pelvic floor muscles.
Middle age ladies should feel confident, happy, accomplished. But so often we don't. We feel tired, lacking energy, and the confidence of our youth. Here at pilates247 My aim is to get you feeling the way you deserve to feel in your body. Strong, capable, mobile. Build your core strength from within. We start with the pelvic floor, go onto pelvic stability, begin with gentle core strength building. All these things begin to build deep strength to support your back and reduce back pain. Back ache should not be a feature of our midlife.
We will increase your flexibility and mobility. Flexibility helps your body move with ease. A flexible, easy body will relieve stress. Midlife is a time to celebrate, build habits for a strong, mobile, re-energized later life.
